Yes, NET qualification will help you to apply for Ph.D. from universities. UGC NET and CSIR NET exam are organized for the selection of candidate for assist professor and junior research fellows. The candidates after qualifying the NET exam, can apply or Ph.D. Th NET exam is organized for arts, commerce and other stream students while CSIR NET exam is organized for Science stream candidates. The JMI entrance exam application forms will be available online on the official website in the first week of February 2020 and the JMI entrance exam admit cards will be released in the second week of April, 2020. The JMI entrance test will be conducted in May, 2020 and the results are expected to be announced in June, 2020. Thanks.

You will have to go through the prospectus of the course provided by the college to know more about the admission procedure, fees, eligibility etc.
