Hello Amrit, If you are interested in lectureship or research, or want to apply for higher studies, then apply for UGC NET exam. UGC NET exam is held for various 84 subjects in commerce, arts music, language and many more. UGC NET exam is held twice a year in June and December. After qualifying the exam, you can apply for assistant professor post or JRF. The post graduate candidates can apply for the exam. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for UGC NET is post graduation degree. There is no age limit for assistant professor (NET lectureship) while for JRF candidates must be below 30 years old. As far as I know, you can not pursue both the courses at the same time. you will have to complete your ma first or can switch to BEd whatever suits your choice or your career aim.

Hi, No. For MA Politics at JNU - Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in any branch of Basic or Applied Sciences under 10+2+3 education pattern from school/ Institute/ University as recognised at the state or national level. Candidates need to have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate of subjects of qualifying degree examination. Eligible candidates need to appear for the Entrance Test conducted by the University.
