The Minimum eligibility for Ph.D. is completing a post graduate and most of the institutes have entrance exams. You cannot get admission in any of the Institutes without completing PG.

You can try by BA in History. The cut-off is usually above 95% for non-christian general category.

Yes, the minimum criterion of eligibility needed to be MET for admission to the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum aggregate score of 50. Course Fee: INR 2.5 to 3 Lacs
Eligibility:10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board
Admission Process:Entrance exam or direct admission
