Hi Shubham,The Civil Services Exam is a paper based test and consists of two successive stages: (I) CSAT (Objective type) comprising 2 exams: General Studies (ii) Civil Services Main Examination (Written and Interview)
CSAT-Prelim:
-Paper 1 is on General Studies
This includes areas like Indian National Movement, Indian Polity, Basic Economic Understanding, and Geography
While the dynamic part includes current affairs, GK and has no proper definition and syllabus making quite vast. -Paper 2 includes mathematics, reasoning, analytical ability, and interpersonal skills. Unlike paper 1 which has a static part, paper 2 is dynamic in many sense.

Hi Aron,
You could join the IAS/ IPS. However, the criteria are that a candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination. The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases for defense officers as mentioned below:
1. Upto a maximum of 3 years in the case of Defense Services personnel disabled during hostilities with foreign countries or in a disturbed area and consequently released.
2. Upto a maximum of 5 years in the case of ex-servicemen including Commissioned Officers and ECOs / SSCOs who have rendered at least five years Military Service as on August 1 of the year of examination and

Yes, you can do a full time BA degree course from this college without doing any coaching of IAS. You can prepare for the exam yourself.
