B.Tech is best for those who aspiring to become IES service. B.A. Political Science/History is best for IAS. B.Sc forensic science/chemistry is best for forensic science services. B.A. English/Economics/Foreign trades are well suit to IFS services. These are not only eligibility criterias (except IAS, IFS, Customs, Other services) these are the step stones that make you to lead others easily and these subjects are already learnt by you at school level and you have the basic knowledge.

Eligibility criteria is as below:
Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in any subject with minimum 50% marks for general candidates and 45% for reserved candidates from a Statutory University.
Admission Guideline:
Candidate will be selected on the basis of Merit and Entrance Test conducted by the University.

No, it is not necessary to have Psychology as a special subject. You need to have completed 10+2 to apply for the course in graduation.

You will have to check the eligibility criteria of the college where you wish to pursue BA in Psychology from. However, as per my knowledge Psychology is not mandatory to pursue the BA Psychology and BA Psychology (Hons.) both as many schools do not offer Psychology as a subject in 10+2.
