As per the official notifications, the candidates are allowed to apply in their post-graduation subject or in the related subject of their post-graduation in case if there is your post-graduation subject is not available.

Normally speaking, one can do MA in a subject only after completing graduation in that subject. This is so since one needs to have a foundation in that subject before embarking on post-graduation studies. Therefore I think you will not be eligible for admission in MA in a different subject than your graduation subject.

It's nice to see that your curiosity has arisen about archaeology. Yes you can study this subject after graduating in history. Just have a look at the brochure of the university under which you are doing graduation. You will find all the required information in that.

The time slot for filling in the online application for admission in all colleges under DU is over a long time back. Some colleges have given admissions based on first cutoff already. What happened? Missed all the advertisement? It's tough luck.
