Hi, Unfortunately, chanced of you getting admission under the general category in the mentioned course and college is difficult, since last year the cut off ended for the same at 97.25%. There is very little to no possibility of it dropping more than 0.5% this year. However don't feel discouraged as this is one of the best institutions in the country, only selecting few individuals each year. With such great score, you can get admission almost anywhere else.

Hi, Thank you for posting your query on Shiksha. The disadvantage for a Science student who wants to pursue arts from Ramjas is that he/she would be facing a 5 percent cut from his/her best of four percentage. So in case you want to pursue political Science from Ramjas, considering that you're a Science student you'd be facing the above disadvantage.

Hello,
Learning at any stage in life is most welcome. It's indeed great that after so many years also you have that spark for studies. These days UGC has prescribed some guidelines to universities as to the procedure for accepting students for PhD programme. Just check with registrar and you will come to know about this. Just follow these steps.
That's all.
