Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is providing distance learning format with a low fee structure that is among the cheapest options for MSW. Vinoba Bhave University does offers four-years BSc course. The BSc course is offered as an integrated course with BE.d course. Candidates must atleast have 50% aggregate in the Class 12 exam. Selection for the inetgreated course will be based on the merit lists prepared on the basis of rules and regulation laid down by the Government of Jharkhand and the VBU. Preference is given to the CUET holder students.

It is phenomenally easy to confuse the term 'Doctor,' as both a PhD and MBBS are referred to as 'Doctor'; however, they have very different roles and expertise.

Studnets are required to provide certain identity and academic qualification documents when filling out the application forms for BA course admissions. These documents are verified by the Universities after the merit list has been declared.

Some commonly demanded documents for BA undergraduate course include: 

  • Class 10 marksheet
  • Class 12 marksheet
  • Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card/ PAN Card/ Voter's ID/Driving License, Passport etc.)

Here are some basic steps followed in the BA programme in India:

First, you should check the eligibility criteria to make sure you fulfill them. If you do, fill out the application form and attach the necessary documents. 

Students should prepare and sit for any entrance exams like CUET, IPU CET, etc. if required. Admission merit lists are prepared considering Class 12 marks when selecting students for admission. Colleges often give a certain weightage to both, class 12 marks and to entrance exam scores.

BA courses can be pursued by all studnets who have completed their class 12th. Studnets from any stream can pursue a BA degree. Many colleges have a minimum eligibilty criteria of atleast 50% marks. However, most colleges offer admission through entrance exam scores of CUET, IPU CET and PUBDET. Colleges may offer admission based on combined merit and entrance exam scores. Students are advised to check the admission criteria of colleges they wish to apply to.

Candidates don't need to have a CUET score for admission to all the VBU BA course. Since the BA admissioln candidates only required Class 12 exam scores. However, for the BA integrated course candidates must have a valid CUET score. Therefore, candidates must participate in the CUET 2025 exam and secure a valid score in the exam.
