Dr. D. Y. Patil ACS College - Empowering education in arts, commerce, and science.

Placements: 70-100% of students got placed. The lowest salary is 1 LPA. The average salary is 3 LPA - 10 LPA. Recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Syngenta, Capera, Capcut, Canva, Google, Amazon, AWS, and Infosys. 60-65% of students got internships at TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Capcut, Canva, and Capera. Roles offered are data analyst, junior analyst, business analyst, and network officer.

Infrastructure: It's quite good and the experience of the college is really next level. Though there is some shortage of sports and games, but the given facilities are top-notch. The quality of canteen food is also really tasty and craving. I like it and always whenever I go to eat there, I always have maggi with black coffee.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. BCA course is quite relevant for students who want to pursue any IT sector degree. Semester exams are quite easy. If you have understand the concepts of all three units, you can easily crack every semester's exams. The pass percentage is minimum of 35%.

Other: I was having less percentage in 12th, and I was weak in maths. So I chose this course because in this course maths is not mandatory. The course is really good and enthusiastic. There is no need to change anything. Though everyone in our college is focusing on our academics. So, no one gets interested in the events, fests, and all.

My honest review about my college.

Placements: It was very good. Many multinational companies came for placements, and offers were also good. But, the college didn't have a very strong placement record overall, it was average. The percentage of students getting placed each year was about 40%. Companies that visited the college included Infosys and others. The average package was 2–3 LPA.

Infrastructure: I resided at my home, so I commuted to the college daily and did not know about the hostel facilities provided.

Faculty: Passing through the pandemic year in such a difficult scenario could have been the reason for my attraction towards the microbiology subject. There was one teacher for every 60 students. Teachers were highly educated and very good at explaining even the smallest details. Exams were as tough as one could imagine, and for every student, it was always hard to pass. Faculty members in the college were really good at teaching, well-qualified, and had good teaching experience. They held M.Sc. or Ph.D. degrees and were good at interacting with students. It provided more research opportunities and was well aligned with the current requirements. There was relevance to current affairs, and they offered strong support to students in that aspect. Exams were well-oriented and as per requirements.

It has really good infrastructure, excellent teachers, and coordinated staff members.

Placements: A high number of students got placements this year. The highest package this year ranges from 9-10 LPA. The average package ranges from 7-8 LPA. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, etc., visit the college to hire students. A high number of students got internships in companies like Wipro and TCS. A few students got internships at Cognizant, etc.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and toilets are very clean. Overall, it is an A+ grade in my opinion.

Faculty: Teachers are one of the most helpful things that happened to me in college. They are the only reason that I got great grades in my academics. The course curriculum is accurate and relevant. It does make students market-ready because of the knowledge that is provided in the college. Faculty members and staff members are very respectful and responsible. They are very experienced and provide great knowledge according to courses.

Other: I chose this course because the development in the computer science sector day by day is increasing, and I knew this was my chance, as the computer science course also appears to be future-proof to me.

Placements: A high percentage of students get placed in my college. The highest package offered in my course for students is 18 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies visit the college to hire students from my college. The percentage of students who get internships in this course is more than 80%.

Infrastructure: Facilities in my college are good. Classrooms, a library, and all things are available in this course. The food quality offered in my college to students is good. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games are available in this course.

Faculty: Teachers are so helpful in my course. They are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is so good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in my course are easy. The pass percentage is more than 90% in my course.

Other: I chose this course to learn better things. There is no wish to improve. Scholarships are not available. The extracurricular activities conducted are so good in this course.

Placements: As for placements, the students were eligible from the beginning of the third year (5th semester). Our college has tried working with some good companies like TCS, UST, CTS, Infosys, Zoho, Wipro, and many more. The average package was 6 LPA and the highest was 30 LPA. 90% of the students got placed in our college each year. I was confident that before getting my degree, I would get placed, so after getting my degree, I would continue to work for a year, and after that, I had many other plans that weren't related to any IT department or software.

Infrastructure: There were not many festival events. Some of them were Navratri Dandiya, Diwali, etc. You could take any book from the library you just needed a library card. You could even take reference books and semester books. There were fair events for sports, but not many. The students got along fine.

Faculty: During my days in the first year, we were in the Science & Humanities department as we were first-year students. Faculty members were a bit strict at the beginning, but as time passed, they became friendly. And I should be very honest about this: when it came to teaching and training us, we had the best faculty members. We wrote two internal examinations before each semester. We wrote exams for 100 marks, both internal and semester exams. In each semester, we had both integrated and core subjects. If we fail in an integrated subject.

Placements: All students got 75% marks in the semester. The highest package is about 3.5,00,000 LPA. The average package is 2 LPA. Infotech, Tata, Alliance, and many more companies come here. I don't know much, but so many students got internships from the course in the best companies. They got the best percentage.

Infrastructure: There are all facilities. They are good. The department is also good. Wi-Fi service is there. There is a lab service. We have many hostel facilities. They are good. I have not taken a hostel pass. It is poor. My friends stay in the hostel. The quality is very good.

Faculty: Teachers are educated. All of them have Ph.D. degrees. They have good knowledge. Teaching qualities are mind-blowing. The course curriculum is very good for students. It makes us industry-ready in the college. All students are given a special training. There are 211 students in the course, and they focus on them.

Other: I chose this course because this is suggested by one person who is my best friend. The best thing about my course is computer science. The college should improve the college environment. All events are happening.
