To get admission in University of Hyderabad, students must fulfil the eligibility requirement. To be eligible, students must pass last qualifying exams. The final selection is entrance-based. The accepted entrance exams are UoH Entrance Test, CUET UG, CUET PG, NEET, GATE, UGC NET, NIMCET, GAT-B. The university considers personal interview or counselling, depending on the courses.

If I were in your position, I wouldn't wait too much or get stressed about the scores. You already have 2 years of work experience, which is a good advantage and adds value to your profile.
My suggestion would be to apply to colleges that accept MAT scores while also waiting for your CMAT result. That way, you keep your options open and don't lose time.
Personally, I would suggest GIBS Bangalore. What I liked about GIBS is that the college looks at the overall profile of a student and not just one exam score. Along with academics, there is a strong focus on internships, industry exposure, live projects, placement training, and skill deve

Yes, University of Hyderabad offers decent placements for MCA students annually. A total of 27 MCA students of batch 2025 secured placements. the highest and average package offered was INR 15 LPA and INR 4.75 LPA.
