The branch-wise placement data is not released on the official website. However, the overall statistics are available for the Engineering UG and PG courses. The University has a corporate relations and alumni department (CR&A) that helps the students get placed in reputed multinationals, government organisations, NGOs, and the private sector. The registered students are provided placement assistance, counselling for employment and self/ social entrepreneurship. The training and placement department of IKGPTU organises joint campus placement drives of various MNCs. Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Zscaler, and many other renowned companies have visited the University campus so far.

The IK Gujral Punjab Technical University average package has not been released as of now. Candidates who have passed a three-year Diploma course in pharmacy from a recognised university or state board of technical education are eligible. Eligible students can submit their applications online. Direct admission to the course is merit-based. Hence, the student's scores in the last qualifying examination are taken into consideration.

The BPharm total tuition fee ranges from INR 2.1 lakh to INR 5 lakh. It is inclusive of fees at the affiliated colleges as well. PTU releases the fee structure for the respective admission years on its official website. The total course fee is higher as that will include exam fees, university funds, security deposit, and other fee elements as well.

Candidates seeking admission to the BPharm course shall have passed class 12 with relevant subjects and should have secured at least 45% aggregate. Additionally, students shall also have a Diploma in pharmacy with at least 45% aggregate. It is compulsory for each aspirant to meet these eligibility requirements. In addition, the relevant documents such as class 12 pass and Diploma certificate have to be presented at the time of admission.

Yes, it is valid. All the courses offered in distance mode by IKGPTU are recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC). Hence, the classification of the MA course is as per the UGC-approved list. Candidates with a distance degree issued by PTU will never face any difficulty while applying for higher studies or finding jobs anywhere.
