Women candidates can apply for IB ACIO exam. A married woman can apply for IB ACIO. IB provides age relaxations for widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and not remarried. Any graduate candidate can apply for IB ACIO exam. Candidates need to fulfil the age limit prescribed by the examination authority. The selection process of IB ACIO exam comprises Tier 1, 2 and interview.

The exam day guidelines of IB ACIO are given below:
- Candidates must paste their passport size photograph in the space provided on the IB ACIO admit card
- Those who do not bring admit card and photo identity card are not allowed to appear in the exam
- Candidates must bring a blue ballpoint pen to the exam centre
- Candidates must reach the exam centre 15 minutes before the beginning of the test
- No candidates are allowed to leave the exam centre before completion of the test
- Use of mobile phones, Bluetooth, or any other communication devices to the exam centre
- Electronic gadgets such as calculators are not allowed inside the exam centre

IB ACIO admit card can be downloaded online only. Carry the printed copy of the admit card along with one photo-identity prooof to the exam centre.

Candidates need to carry any of the following photo-identity proofs in original as well as the photocopy.
- Voter Identification Card
- Driving License
- PAN Card
- Passport or Aadhaar Card
- Identity Card issued by University/College

To qualify the exam, candidates need to secure the minimum qualifying marks. Besides, the examination authority also decides category-wise cut off marks for each stage of the recruitment exam. The category-wise cutoff is given below:
