To join the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in Delhi, candidates need to meet the following requirements:

• Age: Candidates age be at least 17 years old.
• CSEET: Candidates must pass the CSEET (Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test) entrance exam. It is conducted 4 times in a year January, May, July and November.
• CS Course: Candidates must complete the three levels of the CS course - Foundation program, Executive program, and Professional program.
• Education: For the Executive Program, applicants must have completed Class 12. Graduates and post-graduates who want to directly register for the Executive Program must also qualify in the CSEET. The Foundation Program is open to 10+2 pass students from Arts, Science, or Commerce streams. The Executive Program is available for graduates from all streams except Fine Arts.
• Practical Training: Candidates are also required to complete short-term and long-term practical training.

Company Secretary course (CS) is offered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), set up under the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 to regulate the profession of company secretaries in India.
