Admission in any foreign university for either UG or PG course is not exclusively dependent on entrance exam or GRE or IELTS, etc. But depends on many other factors. To overcome these nuances, I would advise you to approach an agency dealing with students sending to Canada for UG studies.

Most of the top Australian universities like Monash, UNSW, etc. offer mechanical engineering for at least 6.5 overall band in IELTS with minimum 6.0 in each subtest. They also demand TOEFL scores which you can check on their websites. However, there must be many other universities that may grant admission at this score.

There are some universities in Canada that may accept your admission.

Very tough luck, you need universities accepting admissions based on IELTS. Before giving another attempt take some time and prepare well.

There are some universities overseas, which don't insist on IELTS and allot admission only on GMAT scores. However, it is better to appear for both the exams and have a video option.
