Germany and Poland are some good options. GMAT for your information is not an English proficiency test. However you can take GRE instead of GMAT for MBA admissions. Besides IELTS or TOEFL you can take PTE, CPE etc but check university websites for accepted English language tests. Requirements differ with universities so make it a point to check the university websites. Hope it helped.

IELTS scores are valid for 2 years and it is expected that it might extend to 3 years. So, you can ideally start 6 months or a year before to prepare and appear for the test.

Hi Hiren,
To be eligible for MBA in HEC Montreal, applicants must have a minimum of 3 years work experience. Additionally you must take GMAT or GRE. With the current profile you are not eligible, unfortunately. You can consider doing the M.Sc program, work experience is not required but you still need to take GMAT or GRE. Do note that M.Sc with a specialization in finance is offered only in French by HEC Montreal. Would urge you to go through the website firstly to have a clear understanding.
Good Luck, feel free to revert if there is anything else you need to know.

For post graduate courses it is preferable to have at least 6.5 overall bands in IELTS. Please note that with your IELTS score many colleges might still offer admission, but the visa officers may reject your student visa as college admission and visa are two different processes. Even if you qualify according to the college's criteria keep in mind the visa requirements.

SAT is a standardized test for Universities admission in US which tells Universities about the college readiness and students' critical thinking skills. IELTS is only taken by students in non english speaking countries. It tells colleges that a student is fluent in English and will be able to understand the course instructions etc. in the college.

Go for TOEFL and get a score of at least 110 to be considered in the top universities. Rather than taking SAT you should go for ACT which is equally acceptable as SAT in all Universities. The format of SAT has recently changed and hence there are not many resources to prepare.
