Eligibility criteria to appear for IGNOU Term-End Examination (TEE) include Technicians, Equivalent Tradesmen, or Manpower working in Electricity or Power Sector. People who have passed at least the 8th standard can also apply. In addition, candidates who have completed their 10th, 12th, Degree, Diploma, or ITI are eligible to appear for IGNOU TEE.

For the IGNOU MBA course, the minimum aggregate is 50% (45% for reserved category candidates). Candidates must hold the pass certificates (original/ copies) at the time of admission. The eligibility criteria for admission to IGNOU varies for different level courses. Aesthetics can be studied under Philosophy courses at IGNOU in BA, MA, PhD or Diploma course levels.
For BA Philosophy admission, IGNOU requires at least 50% in class 12 from a recognised university of India. For MA Philosophy admission, IGNOU demands a minimum of 50% marks in graduation.
