The IGNOU TEE application form process usually begins about three months before the exam. For the June 2026 Term-End Exam, the application process is expected to start in March 2026. For the December 2026 TEE, it will likely begin in September 2026. Students can fill out the form online through ignou.ac.in within the given dates.

IGNOU TEE does not have a specific cut-off mark like competitive exams. Instead, students must score at least 40% in each course to pass. For most programs, 40% in theory and 50% in assignments are required. Final results are based on both assignment and term-end exam marks combined, not on a fixed cut-off score.

IGNOU TEE exam centre is allocated based on preferences you select while filling exam form. Students can choose their preferred city or region from available list. University then assigns centres according to availability and seating capacity. Once allotted, exam centre details appear on admit card. Students can download it from ignou.ac.in.

IGNOU TEE 2026 exam will be held in two sessions: June 2026 Term-End Exam and December 2026 Term-End Exam. June session is likely to begin in first week of June 2026. While December session is expected to start in the first week of December 2026. 

The IGNOU TEE syllabus is based on the subjects and study materials of each course you choose. It includes theory, practical, and assignment topics from your program. Students should study all blocks and units given in IGNOU books. The syllabus covers core concepts, case studies, and application-based questions to test understanding of the subject.

To crack IGNOU TEE in first attempt, study syllabus properly. Make short notes for revision. Read IGNOU study materials carefully and solve previous year question papers. Manage time well during exam and write clear answers. Revise daily before exam. Regular study and practice help you score good marks easily.

IGNOU TEE exam don't really have any rank system like other big exams. You just get marks and grades for what you write. If you score more than 60%, that's called first division and it's really good. Between 50 and 59% means second division. When marks go from 40 to 49%, that's third division.

IGNOU TEE 2026 results are usually released about 45 to 60 days after exam. For example, if June 2026 Term-End Exams finish by end of June, results are expected to be declared in August 2026.

Eligibility criteria to appear for IGNOU Term-End Examination (TEE) include Technicians, Equivalent Tradesmen, or Manpower working in Electricity or Power Sector. People who have passed at least the 8th standard can also apply. In addition, candidates who have completed their 10th, 12th, Degree, Diploma, or ITI are eligible to appear for IGNOU TEE.

IGNOU TEE 2026 admit card is expected to be released about 7 to 10 days before exam starts. If June 2026 Term-End Exams begin in first week of June, admit cards will likely be available in last week of May 2026.
