Hi, In Oberoi STEP, students have to work in Oberoi hotels during their course and they give IGNOU Exam every semester. Step is more of a practical programme where the students learn by working in the industry and not in classroom. On the other hand, IHM Pusa offers full time B.Sc Hotel management where there is classroom teaching and industrial training involved. In my opinion, IHM Pusa is much better than Oberoi STEP. It's a college where apart from your studies you can get involved in extra curricular activities etc. which will help in your overall development. A point to note that Oberoi visits IHM Pusa and other IHMs for placement

Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery would be the ideal course to pursue, if you are planning to enter the bakery and confectionery business.
Basic eligibility to pursue a Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery from Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition, Delhi is that candidate should have cleared class 12 exams with Mandatory Subject : English.
Age: Maximum 22 years
Maximum age limit for SC/ ST candidates is 25 years.

No, interview is not necessary to get in IHM, but you have to clear NCHMCT for the same. Rank should be between 1-500 to get admission in IHM, Pusa.

Good to know the IHM-Pusa NCHMCT JEE exam pattern helped and congratulations on being sure of your preparation. Any rank below 1000 is indeed pretty good and you can directly and definitely expect a group discussion and interview call from the college. Personal interview is an important deciding factor, and if for instance if your score is the same as that of another aspirant which is quite a common occurrence then whoever scores more in the interview would be selected. Candidates definitely need to know about NCHMCT JEE exam pattern and syllabus details to ace the preparations in the right direction.
