IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2025 has been released for the Round 1 seat allotment results based on CCMT counselling and GATE exam. The IIIT Allahabad GATE CCMT cutoff 2025 was released for various specialisations. To get into IIIT Allahabad, the candidates need to score between 440 and 702 for the General AI category candidates. Similarly, for the OBC AI category candidates, the needed score should stood between 367 and 632.

The placement rates at IIIT Allahabad are excellent. For the BTech course, in 2025, the placement rate was 97.91%, and for the PG course, it was 95.3%. Check out the table below for more details-

To get the admission in IIIT Allahabad for the SC category through JEE Main rank following are the ranges:
SC category ranking in the field of information technology falls betwwen 318 and 1230 and in the field of Electronics and Communication engineering (ECE) falls in between 1502 and 1941.
The cutoffs depend on the number of variables including the volume of applications, exam difficulty, and the seat availability.

It is tough to compare which institute is easier to get admission into for BTech courses among IIITM Gwalior and IIIT Allahabad, because the BTech admission process for all IIITs is almost the same, in which candidates are required to complete their BTech/ Class 12 from recognised board of education, with a minimum of 75% and then candidates have to appear for the JEE Mains entrance examination, followed by JoSAA counselling.
Additionally, the number of BTech seats offered at IIITM Gwalior is 475, whereas at IIIT Allahabad it is 489. Moreover, candidates can compare the cutoff of that particular institute form here: IIITM Gwa

IIIT Allahabad is a widely preferred institute by students for engineering programs . Admission at IIIT Allahabad is accepted after qualifying the national level entrance examination - JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination) .
Due to the higher number of applicants and the fixed number of seats, 2342 in the OBC category cannot be considered as a safe rank in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains) 2024 .
