Very slim chances in IIIT A. You can try for IIIT amethi and IIIT lucknow however since these are under IIIT Allahabad administration only and may accept at this score/rank.

There are very very slim chances in IIIT Allahabad programs but you could try for IIIT Lucknow and IIIT Amethi programs since there are still comparatively better chances there and both these are directly looked after by IIIT A faculty and administration only.

The course for IT and CSE is not very different usually in any college and since IIITA is one of the premier institutes in India, its IT course is considered at par with the CSE course of good colleges with equally good placements and opportunities.

Rishabh33155, The quality of the course varies from college to college as it depends upon a lot of constraints. Talking about IIIT Allahabad, here M.tech in Robotics is quite a decent branch as the course structure, faculty, labs and facilities are pretty good. Though the first batch of the course hasn't sit for the placements yet but since their placements will also happen along with the B.tech students only, so you may assume that it'll be decent as well. So, overall, this course is a good one to opt for.

Sanjay82106, IIIT Allahabad offers a number of courses which includes 4-year B.Tech programmes and 5-year integrated courses for M.Tech and MBA. The cutoff ranks for each of these courses vary. The cutoff ranks also depend upon the category you have. Considering you belong to the general category, for getting admission into 4-year B.Tech programme in IT branch you should secure a rank of around 6000 and for ECE branch,11000.
For dual degree courses in IT, a rank of around 8000 would also work and whereas for ECE,the cutoff goes up till around 12000.
For a clearer picture you may check the opening and closing ranks of the college for prev

Rishabh33155, it depends on which category you belong to. Well, considering you belong to the general category, with this rank you can get many colleges but you won't be getting the top courses in them. If you just want the name of NIT or IIIT , that you can get but if you are specific about some particular branch and college then you should mention that. Also, you can check the previous year's cutoff ranks of the colleges of your choice, you'll have a clearer picture. Also ,talking about IIIT Allahabad, 4 year B.tech courses close around 10-11000 rank for general category.

@sachn41664, the JEE MAINS admission process is really simple. For getting into IITs , JEE MAINS will serve as an eligibility examination clearing which you will be eligible to write the ADVANCED paper and after that all that matters is your JEE-ADVANCED score and rank. Whereas, for getting admission into NITs , IIITs and other centrally and state funded institutions, your JEE MAINS score and class XII BOARD results matter. Your final score will be prepared by combining your MAINS score and Boards marks. 60% weightage of the MAINS score will be taken and remaining 40% weightage will come from your normalised Boards score.
