To be eligible for the Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal’s BTech programme, a candidate needs to have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology as one of the optional subjects. IIIT Bhopal admission is primarily entrance-based. The candidates are selected through national-level examinations conducted by different authorities. 

IIIT Bhopal provides a total seats of 375 for its BTech course. The seats are divided among the three specilisations offered by the Institution i.e. Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Information Technology. The total course fee for BTech at IIIT Bhopal is around INR 7.2 lakh. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year 2023-24, hence is indicative.
