It is not necessary to have a work experience before joining IIMs. The difference is that few IIMs give extra marks for applicants with work experience, which makes their chances of getting admission, slightly higher.

Yes, it is the fee structure for whole course. Now, I think it becomes 20 lacs for the whole course as IIMs hike the fees.

Work experience is not a mandatory requirement for IIM Ahmedabad PGDM program. However, if you are experienced it will add to your learning experience and also help to get a better placement.
