Hi,
Yes, You can get an admission in IIM even if you don't have a work experience. The work experience only gives an added advantage. You will have to score better in GD/PI.

For executive program there is a minimum work experience cutoff of 5 years. Once you complete 5 years you can apply for executive program at IIMs.

CAT does not provide percentages and all shortlists are announced on percentile. To get into established IIMs you will have to secure atleast 98.5 percentile. Hence do as good in CAT as you can.

The process of getting into Agri Business course is almost same as that of normal PGP course. At the time of application you have to select the option PGP-FABM as well. Post CAT, if you are shortlisted, you will have to provide the reasoning for why you are interested in Agri Business. All other processes including PI and WAT are same.

Yes, in the history of IIM not one student has dropped because of financial reasons. There are sufficient number of scholarships available including special need based scholarship. Also financing is not at all an issue as IIMs make sure that you have access to bank loan with minimum paperwork and minimum interest rates.

WAT is designed to substitute Group discussions. Many times because of some unwanted elements in the groups, a lot of people can not speak their mind freely. Hence to evaluate everyone on a similar scale WAT was introduced. And this has worked really well for everyone as there is no artificial pressure and everyone is judged on clarity of thought and not on just presentation alone. No, there is no need for reading novels for just this purpose as most often, the topic is so general that anyone can write about that. More than reading novels, i would recommend that you should focus on general awareness, news and current affairs.

There is no direct answer to this question. However, assuming that you want to join established IIMs, there are around 2400-2500 seats for all the IIMs combined. Also assuming that around 2.5 lakh students appear for CAT. You would stand a chance to figure in top 2500 students only if you score more than 99 percentile. This has also been empirically observed. Typical cutoff for IIMA, IIMB and IIMC goes as high as 99.25 percentile to 99.5 percentile. For IIML, IIMI and IIMK, cutoff usually is 98.5 percentile to 99 percentile. Hence I would suggest that you prepare well and give your best shot at CAT.
