As reserved category candidate your eligibility criteria is 45% marks in graduation against 50% marks for general category students. 15% seats in all IIMs are reserved for SC category students. Even after MBA you will be entitled for selection to PSUs against SC quota.

Operations & Marketing are very generic specialisations & you will have ample scope of a career in them.With the Govt recent focus on "make in India" , a lot of Indian & MNCs will set up shops in india in the Aerospace,Defence domain as well ,so you could grab on such opportunities and capitalize on your skills & technical knowledge.

Yes Pune University accepts MAT score.

IIM admits students to PGDM based on CAT exam results. All graduate wih greater than 50% marks are eligible to appear for CAT. You will have to be score very high to get admission in IIM Ahmedabad.

GMAT exams are flexible and you can take it whenever you desire. CAT on the other hand is once a year exam which is usually organized in November. Course curriculum is almost same for both and includes quantitative abilities, verbal and logical reasoning. However exam pattern is different, GMAT is adaptive where as CAT is not.

Anything at IIM Ahmadabad is recognized, Recommended and accepted without any glitch with the kind of brand imagery and competition it has. Students are lucky who get an admission here and involves sincere efforts. PGPM course is accepted at International universities as well.

There are several areas that offer courses for all the students. However in first year, everyone has to complete same courses and there are no choices offered.
