IIM-A library is named after its founder: Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. There are over 2 Lacs books, 3 Lacs e-books, 165+ databases along with e-newspapers, thesis, working papers, and more in the Vikram Sarabhai Library (VSL). It is open 24x7. Moreover, VSL is known as one of the best Management libraries in Asia.

Yes, IIM-A offer hostel facility to the candidates. The student housing on the campus includes 25 understudy apartments with an overall capacity of 740 occupants. There are single-room dormitories available for married people as well. Further, on each of the floor, there are 10 single rooms with a dining area. The hostels are not common at IIM-A, however, boys can visit girls hostel and vice versa.

Yes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is served in the IIM-A canteen. Many students living on the campus have also shared on the internet that the food served at IIM Ahmedabad canteen is one of the best one can get in a mess.

Yes, IIM Ahemdabad is built with sustainability in mind. Moreover, the new campus buildings have solar panels on rooftops. In addition, the hot water supply to the dorms, campus residences, and guest houses is through the solar systems. With all this, IIM-A supports usage of renewable energy.

The IIM Ahmedabad does not release the cutoff information for the Post Graduate Program in Management for Executives (MBA-PGPX) program.
The cutoff is based on a different number of factors, including the GMAT/GRE score, work experience, academic record, and interview performance.

Yes, over the years, the IIM-A has formed partnerships with leading Management schools in Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, South America, South Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. Every year, out of the second year class, appriximately 150 students are selected to spend one academic term abroad at a partner institute and IIM-A accepts about 90 students from its partners for the same period.

The IIM Ahmedabad PGP (MBA) placement process is conducted in clusters. The first stage is the lateral placement process, where companies interview students with work experience and offer them mid-level managerial positions. In the second stage, the PGP final placement process is conducted where companies were grouped into cohorts (domains such as Consulting, Finance, etc.) based on the profiles offered, and these cohort groups were invited to campus across three clusters for final placements.

A total of 190 companies visited the campus and offered around 220 job roles during IIM Ahmedabad PGP placements 2022. Companies such as Accenture, BCG and Bain & Co visited the campus in the Consulting domain whereas in the Investment Banking and Market domain, companies such as ARGA Investment, Avendus and Sanford C Bernstein visited the campus during IIM A PGP placements 2022. Further, from the FMCG, Conglomerate and BFSI domains, companies such as ITC, Adani Group and American Express visited the campus.
