Candidates are required to submit the following:

• GMAT or GRE scores report
• Academic qualifications (graduation onwards)
• Employment history (including details of entrepreneurship, if any)
• Certificates of achievements in sports, arts, extra-curricular activities, etc. at regional.
• Passport details

For certificates which are not printed in English Hindi or Gujarati languages, students are asked to submit certified translations of these certificates in English language.

While all the courses at IIMA are full-time and residential, the PGPX is a one-year programme while PGP is for two years. The PGPX orientation is to give a general management perspective to a management executive, whereas the PGP is focused on Functional and Operational Management. On successful completion, students are given a Master of Business Administration degree.

While IIM-A does not have a minimum score required for admission, candidates are advised to aim for a score between 70 and 75 percentile in both the quantitative and verbal sections of the GMAT/GRE.  Students must also note that standardised tests are just one of several admission criteria. 

Meant for working professionals, candidates seeking admission must have a bachelor's degree and at least four years of experience. On successful completion of this course students are given a Master of Business Administration degree. For admission, it is mandatory for all eligible candidates to take a GMAT/ GRE test. In the final selection process, candidates are also required to appear for a PI round and submit an essay.

Yes, candidates applying for ePGD-ABA admission at IIM Ahmedabad need to possess a minimum of two years of work experience (preferably in the domain of Business Analytics). Yes, IIM Ahmedabad offers a full-time Business Management course of six-month duration (from October to March every year) with an aim to impart the officers of the armed forces with contemporary global Management practices through case-study, classroom studies, business presentations and industry visits. In addition to this, the institute offers PG and doctoral level courses in the field of Management and Food and Agri-Business Management.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) 2024 batch at IIM Ahmedabad, the CAT test will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Aspirants of IIM Ahmedabad are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 will be held in three slots:

• Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
• Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
• Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.
