Admission to MBA at IIM Calcutta is based on merit in CAT exam followed by performance in other selection rounds. Only aspirants with a valid CAT score are eligible for admission. The weightage for each selection round is mentioned in the following table:

For admission to IIM Kolkata MBA, candidate must hold a valid bachelor's degree in 10+2+3 pattern with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD candidates). However, such candidates, if selected, are granted provisional admission, only if the pre-final certificate signed by competent authorities of the previous institute/ university, the latest by June 30 of the admission year is submitted.
