Hi Rashmi,
You can get admission in top colleges, there is nothing like you have to get 99% in UG. So, if you don't get into IIMs, you can get into Amity, SMU and Symbiosis are the top colleges.

Yes, you can very well join IIM if you qualify CAT exam. Check out Employment newspaper and sites and apply for CAT exam at the earliest. Start preparing for the exam as it requires lot of hard work and sincere approach.

Dear Ajinkya,
IIMs are the institutions who offers management course at Masters Level. You can't get admission there until you clear your Bachelors and entrance exam with specified marks. If you are concerning about your stream, then let me tell you that any stream in class 12th can lead to IIMs. Eligibility criteria for IIMs is that passing Bachelor's degree with Minimum 60% marks followed by CAT and GD/PI.

Yes, you can. But, it is tough for you, because 34 cleared backlogs is also mentioned in your score sheet. So, some colleges are uncomfortable to provide you admission, but if you clear CAT EXAM with good marks, then definitely you will get a good college for MBA, so my suggestion is to clear the CAT exam with good marks.

The IIMs are the top ranking institutions for management programs. So, obviously the percentile would be higher only.
Usually, the percentile will be above 90 for which you need to have good profile.

For getting into IIM, first you need to attend for PI/What rounds conducted by IIM's. For getting a call from reputed IIM's you must possess a good percentile in CAT exam. Good percentile could be at-least more than 90 for general category.
These play a major role in getting a call from IIM. An average scholar with at least an aggregate of 85% in X, XII and 65% in UG can get a chance to get into IIM.
One should be able to speak fluently in English, which helps to defeat the others in GD (in some cases) and it also helps in PI as well. Because one needs to understand what the interviewer is asking and able to communicate his/her views cle
