Every academic programme has its own highlights and it totally depends on the aspirant as to how he/she looks at the opportunities. Talking specifically of IPM, one of the biggest thing is, it makes you a part of the IIM franchise, and you get that auspicious tag. One can also see it as a shortcut entry to IIM without facing CAT (though IPM is equally competitive), the course structure is amazing and actually helps produce excellent managers. The forms are out usually in April starting. After getting through the aptitude test, when selected you will be sent details about WAT and PI.

Personal interview is all about overall aptitude and intellect along with personality. There can be questions on anything and everything that they expect to know be it maths, science, general knowledge or current issues. In WAT there will be a very general topic to write on.

Yes, there is. All you have to do is check out the HRD ministry website or visit the HRD department. Certain states like MP and Rajasthan offer really good scholarships for students who get selected in IIM or IIT, regardless of their percentage.

The course is called IPM - integrated programme in management. Apply for IPM AT after completing 12th standard.
