Yes, you can pursue that. The prospects are really good. University School of Business (USB), ranked among the Best Management Colleges in Punjab has earned recognition for its unique style of teaching & experiential learning. The attribute that makes learning business management exclusive at USB is its specialized approach paired with a research focus, innovation culture, and entrepreneurship zeal backed by world-class facilities.

Sometimes they do overlook these marks if you have performed well in other areas. Do prepare well for CAT prepare for the interviews and you might expect a call from IIMs.

It also depends on your situation. If you are currently working in a good position which require good amount of time commitment then EMBA would be more beneficial. If you can give time for 2 years then IIT Roorkee MBA. Best wishes.

The registration process of CAT exam generally starts in the month of August (First week) and the exam will be held in the month of November (Last week). Because you are in the 1st year of B.Com (Hons.), you have enough time for its preparation. Buy some CAT preparation books available on various e-commerce websites. However, if you want to join the CAT coaching center then you can join these centers during the final year of degree, means in 2022.

For a Top Business School, obviously 99+ percentile would be required, considering you to be a general, male individual. Since CAT carries the highest weightage in most of the college admissions, the damage from poor academics can be recovered with a big CAT score. So, prepare hard for it and give your best. Good luck.

General Category, female, non-engineer, you will have a good chance, just clear CAT with good marks. I think with non-engineering background and gender diversity, you will be good to go.
