IIM Kashipur - Indian Institute of Management

 The fact that life at IIM is quite busy doesn't come as a surprise, but in the very acceptance of this reality it has led students to be ready for whatever schedules they have been given. On the one hand, students rush to class early in the morning and you'll see them discussing a wide range of topics, e.g. assignments or daily life, even when they leave the classroom at 2am.

 IIM Kashipur has a strong focus on the holistic development of students. There are many opportunities within the Institute and it is in one of the most industrialised parts of the country. As a result, through frequent industry contacts and live projects, the Institute has a seat at the table when it comes to learning by doing. The IIM Kashipur believes in the link to industry and is committed to developing contacts with local industries. There are numerous opportunities outside the classroom as well - cultural activities, sports competitions or entrepreneurial pursuits.

Completely student driven campus, from placements to functional work, from academic to non-academic activities there’s a student body for it.  Throughout the year, students are involved in a number of activities including organizing major events like annual Fest Agnitraya, Management Conference, or any other event. The students are exposed to a first hand experience in time management, working within teams, handling situations and maintaining good relations with the administration as members of these student organizations and Events Specific Teams.

The institute even has canteens, which are run by students solely for the purpose of supporting late night project proposals, in addition to the mess that serves four dishes a day and along with several restaurants. Kashipur is a peaceful, pleasant paradise in the mountains of Uttarakhand and you'll be able to see the Himalayas from your balcony room window at times of great weather.

 For first year students, summer internships are offered and final internships are offered for second year students. The placement figures for the batch 2020-22 are 300+ eligible students, 300+ offers made, and 150+ companies visited. A total of 50+ PPOs have been made available, while the mean CTC offering is 15 LPA and the high CTC offer was 30 LPA. In the college, close to 100% of students are placed.

 For summer internships 300+ eligible students, 430 offers made and 130+ companies visited. The highest stipend offered for two months was 3.9 lacs and the average stipend offered is around 80K.

other than this, they provide a dedicated placement committee for students to manage placements in the college. As the number and quality of companies coming to college increases year on year, placements are also very good both during the summer as well as in the finals. There are close to 100% placements available in the college.
