The IIM Lucknow CAT qualifying cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to PGP, PGP-ABM, and PGP-SM courses for different categories. For 2025 admission, the IIM Lucknow PGP-ABM qualifying CAT cutoff is 85 percentile (overall) for the students belonging to the general category in the AI quota. For EWS and NC-OBC categories, the minimum qualifying percentile is 77. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the sectional and overall cutoff percentiles for different categories.

For admission to IIM Lucknow flagship Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM/ MBA) and PGP ABM and PGP SM programmes, the institute accepts CAT scores. After the release of CAT results, the institute shortlists candidates based on their CAT scores, work experience, academic performance, and several other factors for the WAT and PI rounds. Admissions are possible only after clearing the selection rounds.

IIM Lucknow is a public/government college. IIM Lucknow ranks 5th by NIRF 2025 under the Management category. Being a government college the fee is not very high. Even if the students feel the fee is high worry not and contact the college for scholarship availability information.

The IIM Lucknow offers admission to all courses on the basis of CAT scores. IIM Lucknow admission procedure is as follows:
- You must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for graduation with a 50% average.
- The IIM Lucknow will release section-wise CAT cutoff scores for each course.
- Those who meet this cutoff score are called for the written ability test.
- Later, you will be called for the Personal Interview PI round at IIML.
- Finally, a merit list will be prepared for each course and will be made available on the official website of IIML.
- This merit list is created on the basis of your CAT score, academic scores, PI score, and round scores.
