IIM Indore has been ranked 8th under the management category by NIRF for the year 2023, whereas IIM Lucknow has been ranked 6th by NIRF in the same category. 

IIM Indore takes pride as it's students get 100 percent placement for the years 2022-2024, the same is for IIM Lucknow as well. 

The highest package for MBA offered at IIM Indore is INR 100 lacs per annum, followed by the average package at INR 28 lacs per annum approximately. The same for IIM Lucknow is INR 1.23 crores per annum and INR 30 lacs per annum respectively. 

Both the institutes are good, but if you want to know which one is slightly better, It is IIM Luckn

Admission to PGPWE or Executive MBA course is based on CAT, GMAT and GATE score. Candidates are shortlisted for the WAT and PI round on the basis of their performance in the CAT, scholastic achievement and relevant work experience.The basic requirement is graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Applicants belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories should have a minimum of 45%. To be eligible for the MBA programme at IIM Lucknow, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution in any field with a minimum of 50% aggregate score (45% for SC, ST or PwD categories)
  • The Bachelor's degree must be of at least 3 years duration
  • Final-year students are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their final semester exams and fulfil the eligibility criteria by June 30, 2024
  • Appear for the CAT 2023 exam
  • For the MBA-SM program, candidates must have a minimum of 24 months of work experience after graduation

Candidates will be shortlisted for the Writing Ability Test (WAT)

No, the University of Cergy-Pontoise is not a better option than IIM Lucknow, India for doing an MBA. When we compare the rankings and status between the two, the difference is noticeable with IIM Lucknow having a considerably higher ranking with better career prospects for those aiming to work in fields related to finance, administration, consultancy, management and more. In addition, the overall expenditure including tuition fees and living expenses is comparatively lesser for those in IIM, Lucknow as opposed to the University of Cergy-Pontoise.

On the basis of placement Statistics, IIM Lucknow, India is better option than Dakota state University, USA as it has excellent placement records and a placement rate of 100%. Being the top buisness college of India IIM lucknow has a very good reputation nationally also it is highly regarded internationally and it is consistently ranked among the top business schools in India and Asia.

IIM lucknow, India offers better placement opportuinities and higher salary packages. It also has recruiters from multi national companies. Therefore, IIM Lucknow, India is a better option than Dakota state University, USA for doing MBA.

In order to be considered for admission to PGP courses at IIM Lucknow, candidates must receive a minimum of 90 percentile score on the CAT. The overall qualifying cut-off for PGP ASM and PGP SM is the 85 percentile. The CAT cutoffs differ according to categories.
