The academic reputation of IIM Nagpur stands at commendable levels. The NIRF rankings 2024 positioned IIM Nagpur at the 31st spot in Management whereas the institute gained 12 ranks from its previous ranking at 43rd in 2023 . The Outlook-ICARE ranking 2024 placed IIM Nagpur in position 20 for the MBA (Government) category. IIM Nagpur attained position 24 in the Business Today MBA ranking system for 2023. IIM Nagpur receives its 17th position in the IIRF rankings 2025 among Government institutions.

While filling out the IIM Nagpur MBA application form, candidates must ensure that all data, such as ther date of birth, academic qualifications (degree titles, etc.), and work experience, are correctly entered. Please remember that all the details mentioned in the online application form will have to be supported by relevant documents later. The admission (if offered) will automatically stand cancelled if the data candidates enter and the information on the documents are different.

While preparing a cutoff for the IIM Nagpur MBA course, the authorities will consider examination and admission-related factors. The listed factors will be checked and considered by the authorities while determining the cutoff of  IIM Nagpur MBA previous years' cutoff trends, the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of qualified candidates, the total number of candidates applying for a specific course or institute, the number of seats available for admission, etc. After checking all of these factors, the authorities will prepare the cutoff for MBA admission.

Yes, IIM Nagpur has an independent personal interview process for admission to its two-year post graduate programme. If candidates have appeared for CAT 2024, have cleared the CAT cut-offs of the first stage, and have filled the application form by a stipulated date, then they need to wait for the email regarding the shortlist for PI. This email would be sent to the candidates who clear the comprehensive score (CS) cut-off.

IIM Nagpur released the qualifying CAT cutoff percentiles for General, NC-OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and DAP categories. Candidates will be shortlisted in the first stage of the admission process based on the qualifying CAT percentile. For candidates belonging to the General AI quota, the minimum qualifying cutoff is 95, while the sectional cutoff is 75. For other categories, refer to the table below:

IIM Nagpur's past three years of CAT cutoff percentiles range between 94 and 95 for the General AI category candidates for MBA admission. So, in case you belong to the general category, it will be difficult for you to get into IIM Nagpur going by the past year's cutoff trends. The institute released the qualifying CAT cutoff 2024 for different categories, wherein the overall minimum required cutoff percentile is 95 and the section cutoff percentile is 75 for shortlisting candidates for the first stage of admission. Yes, IIM Nagour is one of the top-B school in India. Further, well-known colleges like IIM Nagpur are frequented by leading corporations. Over the previous three years (2022 to 2024), the institute saw a fluctuating trend in the highest package offered in terms of placements.
