Composite scores represent small sets of data points that are highly related to one another, both conceptually and statistically and percentile means you have scored better than 93% percent students who participated in the exam. It is not a rank neither it is your score. If there were 100 students who appeared for the exam and you got 93 percentile, it means you have done better than the other  93 students.

IIM Jammu considers the scores of national-level entrance exams like CAT, UGC JRF, CSIR JRF, GRE, and GMAT for admission to the three-year PhD programme in Management (both full-time and part-time). Apart from this, the institute also conducts the IIMJ-Research Admission Test (IIMJ-RAT) for admission to the part-time PhD programme.

NITIE (National Institute of Industrial Engineering), Mumbai which was established in the year 1963 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO has now been named IIM, Mumbai. The change was made on July 12th, 2023 after the Union cabinet approved an amendment to the IIM Act, making it the second IIM (Indian Institute of Management) in Mumbai, Maharashtra alongside IIM Nagpur. The institute celebrated its Diamond Jubliee completion this year and has been ranked 7th in the Management category by NIRF.
