Indian Institute of Management, Trichy offer Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) as its flagship course. It is a two-year course offered in a full-time mode. The programme is divided into four semesters. Admission is based on multiple factors as mentioned below:

For admission to IIM Trichy for the flagship MBA (or PGP) course, the result of CAT 2023 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 (If the CAT conducting body follows the trend as in 2022). However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for IIM Trichy admission.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) batch at IIM Trichy, the CAT test was conducted on November 24, 2024. Aspirants of IIM Trichy are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam is held in three slots:
- Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
- Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Yes, CAT dates for admission to IIM Trichy are out. To apply for the CAT exam, candidates are required to create an account, fill the CAT registration form and pay the exam application fee. The CAT form have to be submitted by a certain deadline after which no application will be accepted. The exam is usually conducted in November. Students are required to appear for the CAT exam in Computer Based Testing mode at allotted test centres.
Candidates who are willing to get into IIM Trichy must mention the college name and course preference in their CAT application form to get a call (provided the student gets a valid score in the exam).

IIM Tiruchirappalli admissions, it is compulsory to fulfil the eligibility criteria and clear the entrance exam. Eligible candidates can apply online. Moreover, PGPM and PGPM-HR admission process includes a valid score in the CAT exam, followed by a PI round. For PGDBM, candidates need to clear an entrance examination, conducted by IIM Trichy, followed by a PI round. Additionally, for the DPM programme, IIM Trichy accepts CAT/ GMAT/ GATE/ GRE/ UGC-JRF and for EDPM admission at IIM Trichy must have a qualified Research Aptitude Test (RAT) with a valid score. Candidates can check out the accepted entrance exam for the respective courses

The IIM Trichy MBA fees range between INR 11.8Lacs- INR 19.5 lakh. The duration of the course is for two years. Moreover, for IIM Trichy admissions, candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli eligibility criteria is that candidate should have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
