Consulting sector emerged as the most dominant hiring domain for IIM Shillong PGPM, accounting for 30% of total student placements. The Finance sector followed as the second most popular domain, absorbing 25% of the batch.  

Total course fee of IIM Shillong PGPM is INR 26.18 Lacs for the entire duration. This structure includes a core tuition fee component of INR 25.28 Lakh, a one-time refundable caution deposit and other institutional charges. 

Newly admitted students must submit a formal application along with authenticated income certificates to request financial aid at IIM Shillong PGPM. The institute's specialised scholarship committee reviews all applications individually to verify eligibility. Approved applicants receive partial or full fee waivers credited to their term fees.

Students appearing for the final year of their bachelor's degree can apply for IIM Shillong PGPM without any issues. They must submit a certificate from their principal stating they expect to complete all graduation requirements. Final admission is granted provisionally, subject to submitting the final mark sheet later.

The recruitment ecosystem for IIM Shillong PGPM is robust and expands consistently every year. In the latest final placement season, more than 140 companies visited the campus to recruit fresh talent. Out of these, over 50 were first-time recruiters.
