IIM-U rules decree that a student who does not score the required number of grade points at the end of the first year may have to repeat it. But every student has to complete the two-year course in a maximum of three years. Those who fail the first year a second time are forced to drop out.

The hard part is if you are repeating the first year you need to pay the entire tution fees again.

That means a straight increase of around 35–40% of the fee for the entire course . Do you think everyone can afford this. I don't think so.

Digital Product Management (DPM) and Senior Management Programme (SMP) are the two certification courses offered by IIM Udaipur. The eligibility criteria of DPM and SMP is bachelor’s/Master’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Work experience also comes under the criteria: for DPM minimum two years of experience in product management functions, or minimum five years of experience across any domain or function. Whereas, SMP requires a minimum of 10+ years of experience or, a minimum of 8+ years of experience with a Post Graduation.

IIM Udaipur does offer certification course. The courses offered are Digital Product Management (DPM) and Senior Management Programme (SMP). DPM covers a period of six months and 125 hours of online live session, with three days campus immersion experience with fifteen hours on campus module IIM Udaipur. Whereas, SMP is tweleve month duration programme, with 120 hours of online live session and seven days campus immersion experience in IIM Udaipur.

IIM Udaipur PhD eligibility criteria includes a Master’s Degree in any discipline, with at least 55% aggregate and Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification with at least 50% aggregate (minimum three years of bachelor’s level education after the completion of higher secondary schooling). (or) A professional qualification (completed) such as CA (ICAI), ICWA, CS with a Bachelor's degree (or) A four year/eight semester Bachelor's degree with 6.5 CGPA or equivalent.

Yes, IIM Udaipur does offers a doctoral-level programme. IIMU offers PhD in areas of Decision Sciences, Finance Accounting, Marketing, Operations Management and Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. The programme covers a duration of five years. Further, PhD students at IIMU receive a full fellowship that covers the cost of tuition, accommodations, other programme expenses and a stipend for a living allowance.

Post Graduate Diploma Course Business Administration requires a valid score of CAT/GMAT/GRE, but in case if the candidates don’t possess any of these scores, he/she can appear for the Institution Entrance Test known as Indian Institute of Management Test. The test is conducted by University online, so it can be taken from anywhere within the convenient of the candidate. A valid score from the IIMU test will be considered instead of CAT/GMAT/GRE score.

Post Graduate Diploma Course Business Administration is a specialised course offered by IIM Udaipur. The course is a 24 month programme delivered in online mode and two one-week campus mode. The eligibility criteria for the specific programme is 12 years of school education and 3 years of university education with a Bachelor degree or equivalent in any discipline. Also a minimum three years of full-time post qualification experience and a valid GMAT score, or valid GRE score, or CAT scores  or score of the admission test to be conducted by IIMU.
