For IIM Udaipur PGP admission 2023, the overall qualifying cutoff for General category students is 92 percentile. The cutoff varies with different categories. For EWS the total perrcentile is 70 and for NC-OBC its 74. Further, 40 is the total percentile for ST and DAP. Comparing the total cutoff percentile of IIM Udaipur with IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore its more, which indicates getting into IIM Udaipur is easier than the two IIM's.

Candidates seeking admission to MBA  programme in IIM Udaipur are required to apply for the CAT exam. The candidates must visit the official website of CAT to register. The registration process requires to upload required documents and submitting a fee of  INR 2,400 (General category) and INR 1,200 (Reserved category). IIM Udaipur offers two year MBA course, which is the flagship course of the Institution. IIM Udaipur is a second-generation IIM, one of the fastest-growing management schools in the country. Earlier, according to media reports, the institute concluded its summer placement drive of MBA batch 2022-24. The highest stipend offered during placements stood at INR 4 LPA in the consulting sector. IIM Udaipur sees an increase in average stipend by 28.78%. IIM Udaipur offers two year MBA course. The admission procedure for MBA at IIM Udaipur starts with qualifying CAT examination, followed by shortlisting of candidates for Personal Interview. PI is conducted in online mode as per the guidelines of CAP. And finally a Merit List is prepared based on the CAT score, PI score and Profile score. The criteria for preparing the merit list will be as follows:

  • CAT Score*: 60%
  • Interview (PI): 15%
  • Profile: 25%.

Eligible candidates who are shortlisted for PI at IIM Udaipur must follow the process given below to fill the PI shortlist form:

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIM Udaipur.

IIM-U rules decree that a student who does not score the required number of grade points at the end of the first year may have to repeat it. But every student has to complete the two-year course in a maximum of three years. Those who fail the first year a second time are forced to drop out.

The hard part is if you are repeating the first year you need to pay the entire tution fees again.

That means a straight increase of around 35–40% of the fee for the entire course . Do you think everyone can afford this. I don't think so.

Digital Product Management (DPM) and Senior Management Programme (SMP) are the two certification courses offered by IIM Udaipur. The eligibility criteria of DPM and SMP is bachelor’s/Master’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Work experience also comes under the criteria: for DPM minimum two years of experience in product management functions, or minimum five years of experience across any domain or function.
