According to IISER Kolkata NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during UG 5-year placements 2023 stood at INR 7 LPA. IISER Kolkata offers admission to courses based on entrance exam. Candidates who have received the provisional KVPY fellowship award are eligible to apply for admissions. Students are admitted to the BS-MS Dual Degree programme through the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) via the IISER Aptitude Test, and JEE Advanced scores.
