IISER Thiruvananthapuram - Indian Institute of Science Education & Research Admission Process

Admission to IISER B.Sc. + M.Sc. dual-degree programme occurs through three channels: KVPY, JEE Advanced and IISER Aptitude Test (IAT). Candidates who opt to use JEE Advanced as their application channel must receive a ranking position that meets the established criteria. The IISER Aptitude Test is the main entry point to IISER institutions where candidates need to obtain at least 60% in their Class 12 (reduced to 55% for groups with special categories). Candidates must follow several stages for admission that start with registration then proceed to examination and continue with announcement of merit lists and end with counseling. The outcome of seat selection depends on the position obtained during entrance examination testing.
