IIT Hyderabad cutoff 2026 is out for admission to the MSc course and its various branches based on the IIT JAM entrance exam. The cutoff has been released for round 1 among different All India categories.
For the General AI category, the first round cutoff ranged from 260 to 327. To know the cutoff range for other categories, see the table below.

You should secure a rank of at least 42 if you belong to the General AI category. For this category, this was the highest acceptable rank according to the IIT Hyderabad UCEED cutoff 2026 for the last round. Students who belong to other categories can look at the table below to know the highest acceptable rank for their category.

While preparing the IIT Hyderabad BTech cutoff, the authorities will consider examination and admission-related factors. The listed factors will be checked and considered by the authorities while determining the cutoff of IIT Hyderabad BTech: previous years' cutoff trends, difficulty level of exam, total number of qualified candidates, total number of candidates applying for a specific course or institute, number of seats available for admission, etc. After checking all of these factors, the authorities will prepare the BTech specialisation-wise, IIT Hyderabad JEE Mains/ JEE advanved cutoff for the BTech course.

The selection process for the MSc course at IIT Hyderabad includes a valid score in the IIT JAM exam followed by counselling. For admissions candidates must qualify for the basic eligibility criteria that state candidates must have Bachelor's degree in a relevant stream for at least two years (four semesters) and a minimum aggregate of 55% or 5.5 CGPA out of 10.

If you belong to the General AI category, u can opt for either IIT Guwahati or IIITDM Jabalpur if admission at IIT Hyderabad is not possible.
For IIT Guwahati, the highest accepted rank for the BDes course was 78 and for the IIITDM Jabalpur, 171 was the highest accepted rank for the aforementioned category. Please know that different categories will have different cutoffs.

The IIT Hyderabad B.Des cutoff 2025 has been released for Round 1. The cutoff was released for different categories of students belonging to the AI quota. As per the first round cutoff, the closing rank for UCEED was 52 for the students belonging to the general category. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the IIT Hyderabad UCEED cutoff for the last three years for Round 1. The tabulated cutoff ranks are for the general category students.
