Yes, it is important that you print out your IIT JAM admit card.

Entry Requirement: The admit card is your official entry pass to the examination hall. You will not be permitted to enter the examination centre, and write the exam, without it.

Verification: You will be asked by the invigilators to provide your admit card and original photo ID for verification, before you are permitted entry.

Exam Details: Furthermore, the admit card contains all relevant details such as, the exam date and time, examination centre address, roll number, and important instructions.

The IIT JAM 2025 entrance exam does not require students to stick to a specific dress code. You can typically get away with wearing casual outfits. However, many exams however, especially ones at a professional level, may benefit from more formal apparel (e.g., wearing a shirt and trouser). Some institutions may have specific guidelines (e.g., wear shirts or t-shirts, jeans or trousers, and recommend against women wearing high heels.)

Candidates must first determine whether they have qualified for the exam by comparing their earned score to the qualifying or cutoff marks once the IIT JAM result has been announced. If they do, they will need to get ready for the IIT JAM counselling procedure, which is the further step.
