IIT Jammu BTech course admissions are based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores. For admission to the BTech and BSc/ BS programmes, candidates must fill out the application form for JEE-Main and JEE-Advanced exams through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in). Students must prepare well in advance for admissions to various courses.

Yes, admissions are open at IIT Jammu. Students applying through JEE Main must follow the application process mentioned below:
1: Visit the website and register for the JEE Main exam.
2: Appear for the JEE Main exam.
3: Then appear for the JEE Advance. Then take part in the JoSAA counselling.

For admission in a BTech course of IIT Jammu, the candidates have to pass the JEE Advanced examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates have to appear for JEE Main and those who pass this have to take the JEE Advanced. The seat allotment procedure is further carried out through JoSAA counselling. The seats are allotted as per the rank secured in the entrance examination. Moreover, it is advisable that the aspirants check out the eligibility requirements before applying.

The total fees for BTech at IIT Jammu is cumulative of multiple components. A few of these are tuition fees, hostel fees, security fee, and more. IIT Jammu JAM cutoff 2025 was released for round 1. The cutoff was released for M.Sc. in Chemistry and M.Sc.in Physics with the cutoff ranks of 645 and 641, among the General AI category candidates. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the closing ranks for MSc in Chemistry and MSc in Physics were 854 and 1041, respectively.
