To seek admission at IIT Jodhpur, candidates must meet the suggested eligibility criteria. Admission to the various UG level courses would require Class 12 qualification with 75%, while for PG level courses, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 55% to 60% in graduation. In addition to this, candidates must secure valid scores in suggested entrance exams preferred for the respective choice of course.

IIT Jodhpur is an institute of national importance. The institute grants admission only to the deserving candidates .Hence, direct admission without entrance examination is not possible in IIT Jodhpur. 

For MBA, candidates must appear in the CAT entrance examination, however if you want to pursue MBA in Fintech or Cybersecurity then it is accepted through the GATE entrance examination.

Candidates seeking admission to BSc at IIT Jodhpur must upload the following documents during the JEE Main registration process as mentioned below:

  • Email id and mobile number of candidates
  • Class 10 marksheet
  • Class 12 marksheet
  • Category certificate scanned copy (if applicable)
  • PwD Certificate scanned copy (if applicable)
  • Scanned photograph and signature as per the specification mentioned by the NTA

IIT Jodhpur BSc course admission is entirely entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission to the programme are required to appear for the JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced. Therefore, candidates cannot get the direct admission to IIT Jodhpur BSc course.

IIT Jodhpur BSc admission is entrance based. The admission procedure involves multiple steps which are mentioned below:

Step 1: Fill out the application forms for JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced.

Step 2: Appear for the JEE Main and JEE Advanced followed by other selection rounds (if applicable). Post which, counselling rounds are carried out for seat allotment process.

Step 3: Shortlisted candidates are required to appear for JoSAA Counselling to confirm their seat and pay IIT Jodhpur BSc fee.

IIT Jodhpur accept MBA applications via online mode. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria and having a valid CAT score shall apply. Further, the steps to be followed for online application form filling are:

In order to get admission to a full-time MBA course at IIT Jodhpur, candidates have to apply and qualify for CAT entrance exam. Candidates who passed graduation with minimum 60% aggregate or 6.00 CGPA (55% aggregate or 5.00 for SC/ST/PwD categories) are eligible to sit for CAT and apply for admission to IIT Jodhpur MBA course. No, the admission procedure for both the IITJ MBA courses is the same. However, the eligibility conditions vary for the programmes. For the Tech-MBA course, an aspirant must have a bachelor's degree in any of the branches of Engineering. However, for regular MBA courses, aspirants can apply with any valid bachelor’s degree.

The selection is based on GATE scores followed by COAP Counselling. Candidates shortlisted are invited for written exam or interview round for final selections. Aspirants shall complete the GATE application process  (gate.iitk.ac.in) within the due date to be eligible for admission as there is no other provision for admission. With a valid COAP score, students may have to apply on IITJ website as well.
