As per the overall placement report, the highest package and average package offered during IIT Kanpur MBA 2024 placements, stood at INR 24 LPA and INR 18.20 LPA, respectively. Further, the median package offered to MBA batch stood at INR 19.90 LPA. Additionally, a total of 21 recruiters visited the campus during IIT Kanpur MBA 2024 placements. The top recruiters included Infosys, HDFC Bank, Intellus Direct, etc.

The current average salary stands impressively at Rs 26.27 LPA (lakh per annum), underlining the high caliber of IIT Kanpur's graduating talent.IIT Madras has an average salary of INR 41.72 Lacs per annum. Even though there is a shortage of skilled software engineers in India, freshers from IIT Kanpur are killing it when it comes to grabbing high-paying jobs.
Placement Experience:
TCS, INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA, and many more big companies visited the campus for placement. Approximately 85% of students get placed in on-campus placement. The highest package is 25 LPA and the lowest package is 1.5 LPA. The average package is 3.5 LPA.
