IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology Admission Process

IIT Madras applications for BTech start with JEE Main registrations. To apply for BTech, candidates must fill out the application form for JEE (Main) through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 1,000 and INR 800 for girls.

After the commencement of JEE Main exam, candidates have to qualify for JEE Advanced entrance exam. Only candidates who qualify for the JEE Main exam are eligible to fill JEE Advanced form All the steps of JEE Advanced registration are as follows:

1. Login with JEE Main 2024 application number and password.
2. Furnish the details in the registration form. JEE Main details in the form will be prefilled from its database.
3. Fill out the complete application form, upload the required documents and pay the application fee. 
4. Download and print the registration receipt.

Applicants must apply online via the institute's official website in order to be considered for admission to IIT Madras. Most courses at IIT Madras require an entrance test. Candidates must go to the National Testing Agency's (NTA) official website and complete the online JEE Main application form in order to be considered for admission to the IIT Madras BTech programme.
