For the General AI quota, the IIT Mandi CSE cutoff for 2025 ranged between 3087 and 3123. For IIT Patna, the cutoff range was between 3215 and 3377. Similarly, for IIT Ropar, the cutoff ranged from 2357 to 2512. Therefore, considering these ranges, the IIT Mandi cutoff for CSE was comparatively more competitive for admission among engineering aspirants compared to IIT Patna, while it was less competitive than IIT Ropar, which had a more stringent cutoff for CSE admission.

For students belonging to the OBC AI quota, a cutoff rank between 562 and 922 is considered to be a safe rank for MSc admission at IIT Mandi. The better (lower) your rank, the higher is the probability of securing a seat at IIT Mandi for MSc. This is the overall cutoff range for MSc admission, including all the rounds and specialisations for the OBC category students. IIT JAM is the entrance exam for MSc admission at IIT Mandi. The last round closing ranks varied between 408 and 568 for students belonging to the General AI quota. Therefore, for admission in the last round, the maximum cutoff rank required was 568 for MSc admission. Refer to the table below to view the last round cutoff for 2025:

IIT Mandi MSc cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to different spcialisations. The cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks for different categories of students belonging to the AI quota. During the IIT Mandi JAM cutoff 2025, the first round closing ranks varied between 326 and 522 for General AI category students. Of all the MSc specialsiations, the most competitive was MSc in Applied Mathematics. For the rest of the other MSc specialisations, the IIT JAM first round closing ranks are tabulated below for the General AI quota:

IIT Mandi JEE Advanced Cutoff was released for Round 3. The Cutoff ranks were released for different categories under the AI Quota. For the General AI category candidates, the most competitive course was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, with the closing Cutoff of 2909. The easiest course to get into was B.Sc in Chemical Sciences, for which the Cutiff closed at 15365, for the General AI category candidates.For the OBC AI category candidates, the most competitive course was CSE, with the Cutoff of 1269. The easiest course for the OBC AI category candidates was B.Sc in Chemical Sciences, with the Cutoff of 5884.
