IIT Roorkee JAM cutoff 2025 was released for round 1. The cutoff was released for admission to MSc specialisations. The cutoff ranks varied between 23 and 223. The cutoff was most stringent for admission to MSc in Economics and most lenient for admission to M.Sc. in Mathematics. Given below are the branch-wise cutoff ranks for the General AI category candidates.

As per the IIT Roorkee JEE Advanced cutoff 2024, the needed rank for DS and AI programme stood at 132 for the General AI category candidates. Further, candidates need to have valid JEE Advanced score to be eligible for the DS and AI course.

The IIT Roorkee cutoff 2024 has been released for All India category candidates. For the General AI category, the BTech cutoff stood between 18 and 199 for the PWD AI quota. Similarly, for the EWS AI quota, the BTech cutoff stood between 90 and 2926. For both the quotas, the most competitive course was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering.

| Step 1: Registration: As the first step, candidates must register for JEE Advanced 2023 counselling and seat allotment. Students will need to use their JEE Main roll number and JEE Advanced password as credentials while logging in. |
| Step 2: Filling and Locking of Choice: After registration, candidates will have to select the college and courses of their choice from the available options and lock them. |
| Step 3: Allotment of Seats: The authorities will conduct mock seat allotments for candidates as per the choices they make. Candidates will be allowed to change their choices after mock allotment. Seats will be allotted to students as per their merit, preferred choices, category and availability. |
| Step 4: Reporting at Centres: After the allotment of seats, candidates will have to download their allotment letter and have to pay the seat acceptance fee. They will need to carry the requisite documents to the respective centres for verification. |

IIT Roorkee accepts JEE Advanced scores. Candidates aiming for IIT Roorkee for BTech courses must have a score between 481 and 19885 for the General AI category candidates. Wherein, the courses having the most competitive ranks and least competitive ranks were BTech in CSE and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) were 481 and 19885, respectively. For OBC AI category, the needed rank ranged between 421 and 6973.

IIT Roorkee is an renowned institute worldwide which offers BTech courses based on JEE Advanced exam scores. It provides admission for various BTech and Integrated courses such as CSE, ECE, and Civil Engigineering programs. In 2024, IIT Roorkee has released the JEE Advanced cutoff 2024. In connection to it, the CSE cutoff stood at 481 for the General AI category candidates.

The rank that you require to target for a particular specialisation at IIT Roorkee would depend on the category you belong to. If you belong to the General AI category, then you must target a rank of below 2033 for Electrical Engineering, as per the last round.
If you belong to the OBC AI category, then your target should be a rank below 1012. For the SC AI and ST AI category candidates, the target rank for Electrical Engineering should be below 560 and 298, respectively.
