IFMR has a track record of 100% placement since its establishment. Current placement scenario at IFMR, average is 9 lac and highest is 18 lac.
Some of the Companies which came for placements:
HSBC, HDFC, Accenture, Infosys, J.P Morgan, Royal Bank of Scotland, Deloitte,Cognizant, Capgemini, Credit Suisse etc
The 40 acre campus is located 70 kilometres north of Chennai in SriCity which is a Special Economic Zone. We are surrounded by companies like Mondelez International, Kellogs, PepsiCo, Alstom, Isuzu to name a few.

SCIT is a constituent of SIU and has been a pioneer in imparting education in the niche area of Information Technology Business Management in India. MBA ITBM offers a variety of specializations that will be beneficial in the IT industry. The profile which we offer is techno-managerial and is aligned with the industry requirements. Prefer as follows based on the recent data; first priority being IMT Nagpur, second one being NL Dalmia and third preference being SIESCOM based on their placements and other infrastructure.

Among the names mentioned, I would recommend NL Dalmia, as it's known for its placements in finance stream. Also, it is located close to Mumbai, makes it convenient for the companies to visit. However, keep IMT, Nagpur as the backup. The average package offered at both these B-Schools is around Rs. 7 Lacs. P.S. Welingkar and SIES are known especially for marketing.

Hi Karan,
BIMTECH core would be a better option as not only you get to learn important core subjects but also have the option to choose marketing as well and BIMTECH will offer you better placement options.

We achieved around 90% placements with the placement still being on for rest of the candidates. The highest was Rs 17.8 lakhs per annum and average being around Rs 7.5 lakhs per annum.

SIES definitely enjoys location benefit but if you see overall faculty, exposure and personality development, IMT-Nagpur is a better option.
