I will suggest you to first give IMUCET. It will be beneficial for you. If you clear IMUCET, then you can proceed further. Sponsorship should be done in later stage.

Of course you can apply for it. IMUCET is one of the easiest exams if you have studied sincerely. Just focus on what you have studied in 10+2. It will be very easy for you to clear it.

There are many companies which offers sponsorship. So, you keep visiting their websites. You just have to fill an application form, and an examination is conducted by them which you have to clear it.

Hello Manish,I can understand your query and anxiety in preparation for IMUCET. However, as a counsellor with Shiksha, I cannot provide you with question paper, but I can guide you. I am getting previous years question papers and answers. If you Google, there are plenty of sites which will provide you with this information. I will also advise you to go in for mock test as it will help you in understanding how much time you have to answer and it will go a long way in giving all answers correctly and to your satisfaction. Hi, you will be asked just your registered number in any CET, and you are supposed to give a scanned copy if it is mandatory.

No, JEE is not required for Marine Engineering. After IMU was established in 2008, it started conducting it's own entrance exam IMUCET. So, one needs to appear for CET now only to get admitted to affiliated colleges of IMU.
